Rejoicing after power blackout in Kenya

Why it was rejoice time after Power Black out in Kenya. January 9th 2018

It was time for power back ups to prove how long they can back up households, businesses, offices and security lights now that Kenya power and lighting company had done it again.

Yes KPLC have done it again. in 2016 a similar black out took over the whole country after a major fault. The company blamed the black out on a primate that fell onto a transformer at the Gitaru hydroelectric power station, according to Kenya Electricity Generating Company, or Ken Gen, which owns the facility. The station is the largest generator in the country.
Kenya power argued the yesterdays black out started at 4.30 pm but most residents fail to agree to that. Some who inquired on plexus energy page for solar power says that the black out started as early as 1200hour(noon)
The black out was experienced nationwide. the areas that were affected include many parts of Bomet, Embu, Kiambu, Kisii, Kisumu, Laikipia, Nairobi, Narok, Nyandarua, Nyeri, Mombasa, Meru, Taita Taveta, Tharaka-Nithi and Uasin Gishu counties.
Gasoline driven generators could be heard all around Nairobi as landlord efforts to keep their tenants in the light and powered. an example is Nation center and other media buildings in Nairobi town. The generators made sound harmoniously and the emission were seen rise out of every building that run their gensets.
People living in areas around Nairobi expressed their anger on social media due to the noise made by the Gasoline generators. The harmonious sound of the generators was like one big old steam driven trains of the 80s. They made sounds that were disturbing more than mosquitoes and emissions that would be confused for fire.

Here are few who were REJOICING during the BLACK OUT IN KENYA.

The company is Located at Ngong road. It is in business of selling cars and security to them was a major priority.
